Workspace settings overview
Where to manage your workspace: the settings overview, Workspace Profile, plan-backed Defaults, and the Danger Zone.
Workspace Settings is one page for your workspace's identity, defaults, and high-risk boundaries. This page explains each section and who can change it.
Who this is for
Workspace Owners and Admins. Most settings are editable by Owners and Admins; some areas are read-only.
Open Workspace Settings
From the workspace sidebar, open Settings. Every section is on the same page; the sidebar entries under Settings (Workspace Profile, Defaults, Danger Zone) jump straight to theirs.
The settings sections
- Workspace Username — the handle in your in-app URLs, at the top of the page. Owners and Admins can change it, with a short cooldown between changes.
- Workspace Profile — the workspace logo, name, type, and website. Owners and Admins edit these and select Save Changes; everyone else sees them read-only.
- Current Defaults — plan-backed values such as log retention, Client Reviewers per project, and media upload size. They change with your plan from Billing, not here.
- Editable Defaults — workspace-wide defaults that are not enabled yet; project and content workflow settings stay in each project.
- Danger Zone — the place for high-risk, destructive boundaries. It clearly states which destructive controls are available.
Note
The workspace type and website describe your workspace; they do not change your plan or your project's deployment settings.
Related areas (elsewhere in the sidebar)
Some workspace concerns live in their own sidebar sections rather than in Settings:
- Team — manage Team Members and Client Reviewers. See Invite a Team Member.
- Billing — plan, usage, and payment. See Billing, trial, and plan limits.
- Notifications and Logs — notification preferences and the workspace activity, Publish Logs, and Deployment Logs.
Troubleshooting
- A setting is read-only. Defaults are plan-backed and read-only; some controls require an Owner or Admin role.
- I want to change the Workspace Username. Use the Workspace Username section at the top of Settings; see Your Workspace Username.
