Plan and schedule content

Use the Content Calendar to see scheduled, published and failed content by day across your projects, then act on scheduled work in each project's Publishing area.

GuideFor Owners, Admins, and ManagersUpdated October 1, 2026

Acrosite lets you plan ahead by scheduling approved content to publish later. The Content Calendar shows a month of scheduled, published, and failed content across your projects, and each project's Publishing area is where you act on scheduled work. This page explains how to read the calendar and plan with it.

Who this is for

Owners, Admins, and Managers, who schedule and publish content. Other Team Members can open the calendar to see what is planned; Authors see only the items they created or were assigned.

Read the Content Calendar

Open Content Calendar from your workspace (the Overview's This week tile links to it). Each item appears on its day in your own timezone, colour-coded:

  • Scheduled — approved content queued to publish at that time.
  • Published — content published that day.
  • Failed — a publish attempt that failed that day; open the item or the project's Publishing area to retry.

Move between months with the arrows or Today, switch between Month and List, filter by status, and narrow the calendar to one project. Select an item to open it in the editor.

Plan and schedule content

  1. Make sure the content item is Approved. See Approve or request changes.
  2. Open the item and set the Schedule Date and Time and a Timezone, then choose Schedule Publish. See Schedule content.
  3. Check the date on the Content Calendar, and review what is queued in the project's Publishing area under the Scheduled view. Schedule Content on the calendar opens that view.
Note
Scheduled content stays in Acrosite until its time arrives — nothing is committed early. At the scheduled time, Acrosite runs the publish automatically.

See what is scheduled

In a project's Publishing area, the Scheduled view lists items queued to publish, and the Queue shows pending, running, completed, failed, and retryable jobs. A Run Due Jobs action lets authorized Team Members move along work that is due.

Reschedule or cancel

To change a scheduled time, cancel the schedule and set a new one. Cancelling before it runs stops the publish and returns the item to Approved; nothing in your repository is affected because nothing has been committed yet. See Schedule content.

You schedule an Approved item from its editor by setting the Schedule Date and Time and a Timezone, then choosing Schedule Publish. The project Publishing area is where you review what is scheduled.
Yes. When the scheduled time arrives, Acrosite runs the same publish pipeline automatically — committing the content and triggering your deployment — without you doing anything further.
