Invite a Team Member
Invite people who help run the workspace — editors, managers, developers, and admins — and choose the role that fits their work.
Team Members are the people in your workspace who help create and manage content. This guide invites a Team Member and explains the roles you can assign.
Who this is for
Workspace Owners and Admins, who can invite Team Members. Other roles cannot send invitations.
Before you start
- You have the person's email address.
- You know which role they should have (see the roles below).
- You have room within your plan's Team Member limit. See Billing, trial, and plan limits.
Send the invitation
- Open your workspace and go to Team.
- Choose Invite Team Member.
- Enter the person's Email.
- Choose a Role.
- Select Send Invitation.
Acrosite emails the person an invitation link. When they accept, they join your workspace with the role you chose.
Roles
Team Member roles control what a person can do. Common roles include:
- Owner — full control of the workspace, including billing. Owners are not invited from this flow.
- Admin — manages the team, projects, and integrations.
- Manager — manages reviews, scheduling, and publishing.
- Developer — manages GitHub and deployment setup.
- Editor — creates and edits content and manages media.
- Author — creates and edits content and submits it for review.
- Viewer — read-only access.
Pick the least-privileged role that lets someone do their job; you can change it later from the Team page.
What happens next
Once the invite is accepted, the new Team Member appears on the Team page. From there you can change their role, suspend their access, or remove them. Owners and your own account are protected from accidental changes.
Troubleshooting
- I cannot invite anyone. Only Owners and Admins can invite Team Members.
- They did not get the email. Ask them to check spam, then resend the invitation from the Team page.
- I have hit my Team Member limit. Upgrade your plan or remove an inactive member. See Billing, trial, and plan limits.
- I meant to invite a client, not a teammate. Use Invite a Client Reviewer instead, so they get review-only access.
