Getting Started

Create your first workspace

Create a workspace and choose a Workspace Username. A workspace is the top-level home for your clients, projects, content, and team.

TutorialFor New ownersUpdated October 1, 2026

Your workspace is the home for your clients, projects, content, and team. When you create your account, Acrosite guides you through making your first workspace. This guide explains each field and how to choose a good Workspace Username.

Who this is for

Anyone creating a new Acrosite account, or an existing owner creating an additional workspace.

Before you start

  • You have signed up and verified your email.
  • You know what you want to call the workspace (your company, brand, or agency name works well).

Create the workspace

After you sign up, Acrosite takes you to Set Up Your Workspace. First choose a plan and billing period, then fill in:

  1. Workspace Name — a human-friendly name, such as your company or agency name.
  2. Workspace Username — a short, unique handle used in your in-app URLs. Acrosite checks availability as you type and can suggest one based on your workspace name.
  3. Workspace Profile — whether the workspace is for an Agency, a Business, or a Solo creator. This only tailors the experience; you can use Acrosite fully either way.
  4. Website URL *(optional)* — the main site this workspace is for.

Review the trial terms — your plan, amount, tax handling, trial end and first-charge date, and how to cancel — confirm them, and choose Continue to Secure Payment to add a payment method on our payment provider's secure page. Your workspace is created as soon as your payment method is confirmed.

Note
A payment method is required to start the trial, but no subscription fee is charged during it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the plan you chose is charged when it ends. See Your 14-day free trial. Accounts with Acrosite-granted complimentary access create workspaces without a payment method.

Workspace Username rules

The Workspace Username appears in your in-app URLs, so it follows a few rules:

  • 3 to 30 characters.
  • Lowercase letters and numbers only.
  • Must start with a letter.
  • No spaces, hyphens, or underscores.
  • Some reserved words (like admin, app, and billing) are not available.

If a username is taken or reserved, Acrosite tells you and offers a suggestion. You can change the Workspace Username later from Workspace settings, with a short cooldown between changes.

What happens next

Once the workspace exists, you land in your workspace dashboard. From here you can:

Troubleshooting

  • The username I want is not available. It may be taken or reserved. Try a variation, or accept Acrosite's suggestion.
  • I created the wrong workspace name. You can rename the workspace from Workspace settings; the name and the Workspace Username are managed separately.
  • I need more than one workspace. Additional workspaces beyond your included trial workspace require a paid plan. See Billing, trial, and plan limits.
