Pay for additional workspaces

Your first workspace includes the free trial. Creating an additional workspace uses a paid plan, with billing applied per workspace.

GuideFor OwnersUpdated June 8, 2026

Your first workspace includes the free trial. When you create another workspace, that one uses a paid plan. This guide explains how billing works across multiple workspaces.

Who this is for

Workspace Owners who run — or want to run — more than one workspace.

Billing is per workspace

Each workspace has its own plan, usage, and billing. A plan you pay for applies to the workspace you bought it for; it does not cover your other workspaces. This keeps each workspace's clients, projects, and limits separate. See Workspace and tenant isolation.

Creating an additional workspace

Your first workspace is included with your account on the 14-day trial. Creating an additional workspace uses a paid plan for that new workspace.

  1. Start creating a new workspace.
  2. Choose a plan and billing period for it.
  3. Continue to Payment and complete it.

The new workspace becomes active after the payment is confirmed.

Important
Like any paid plan, an additional workspace activates only after payment is confirmed. Returning from payment alone does not activate it. See Payment and Secure Payment.

Switching between workspaces

Once you have more than one, use the workspace switcher to move between them. Each opens to its own overview, content, and Billing. See Switch between workspaces.

Frequently asked questions

No. Billing is per workspace. Each workspace has its own plan and usage, so a plan you pay for applies only to that workspace.
Your first workspace includes the 14-day free trial, which starts once you add a payment method; no subscription fee is charged during it. Unless you cancel before it ends, the plan you chose is charged when the trial ends. Additional workspaces use a paid plan from the start.
Yes. Because billing is per workspace, each can be on the plan that fits it — for example a larger plan for a busy agency workspace and a smaller one for a personal site.
