Keyboard shortcuts

The keyboard shortcuts in the Acrosite app today: press S to open search from anywhere, and Esc to close the search or a dialog.

ReferenceFor EveryoneUpdated June 8, 2026

Acrosite keeps keyboard shortcuts minimal and shows them in the interface, so you never have to memorize a long list. This reference covers the shortcuts available in the app today.

Press S anywhere in the app — when you are not typing in a field — to open search. The same shortcut is shown as a small S hint on the search box in the top bar.

Search is a fast way to:

  • find content, projects, and people, and
  • jump to workspace areas such as Overview, Projects, Clients, Logs, Billing, and Workspace Settings.

Start typing to filter the results, then choose one to go there.

Close search and dialogs

Press Esc to close search. The open search panel shows an Esc hint to remind you. Esc also closes dialogs and panels, so it is a safe way to back out of anything without making a change.

Everything else uses standard keys

Acrosite does not override your browser's normal keyboard behavior, so the rest of the app works the way you expect:

  • Tab and Shift+Tab move between buttons, links, and form fields.
  • Enter or Space activates the control that has focus.
  • Your browser and operating-system shortcuts — back, forward, find-in-page, zoom — keep working.
Note
We only document shortcuts that the app actually shows. If a shortcut is not listed here, assume it is standard browser behavior rather than an Acrosite-specific key. As more shortcuts are added to the app, they will appear in the interface and in this reference.
