Plain-language definitions of the Acrosite terms you will meet across the app and these docs. For the bigger picture, see Core concepts.
Workspace and people
- Workspace — the top-level home for your clients, projects, content, team, and billing.
- Workspace Username — the handle used in your in-app URLs.
- Clients — an optional way to group projects by the client they belong to.
- Projects — one website each. A project connects to a GitHub repository and a deployment trigger.
- Team Members — people who help run the workspace, each with a role.
- Client Reviewers — review-only stakeholders who approve content for a specific project from a separate portal.
Content
- Posts — recurring editorial content.
- Pages — standalone website pages.
- Custom Content Types — your own repeatable content structures.
- Custom Fields — structured fields a content type collects.
- Content Items — the individual Posts, Pages, and Custom Content Type entries.
- Content Structure — the project area where you manage content types and see output paths.
Workflow and publishing
- Submit For Review / Approve / Request Changes — the review actions.
- Schedule Publish / Publish Now — send content out at a future time or immediately.
- Publish Logs — the record of publishing jobs.
- Deployment Logs — the record of deployment trigger requests.
- Deployment triggered — Acrosite asked your host to rebuild; it does not track build completion.
Billing
- 14-day free trial — the trial your first workspace starts on once you add a payment method. No subscription fee is charged during it; the plan you chose is charged when it ends unless you cancel first.
- Plan limits / Usage — what your plan meters and how much you have used.
- Payment / Secure Payment / payment confirmed — the payment step and the confirmation that activates paid access.
